This is my number one spot for Korean food whenever I come to OC. I make time to visit once a month just for my Korean fix. The food here is amazing, especially the squash banchan. Reminds me of my mom's cooking and all the Korean dishes I ate growing up :'). The owner is so adorable and helpful in recommending dishes to us. 10/10 would recommend!

All the food look so comforting and warm. They had a kettle for us with bone broth to drink, which I haven't seen elsewhere. We ordered Seolleongtang, rice cake soup, bossam, and tofu soup. You can customize the spice levels for tofu soup. They had side dishes as well. I really enjoyed the packed flavor from Seolleongtang. They also had a spicy cold noodle, which was so good. It was refreshing and not too spicy. The bossam was ok. After I tried their rice cake soup, I am so impressed and became a fan of it. I think the ambiance was very bright and busy, but the servers still made their rounds to frequently check in with us and other patrons. I would definitely come back to try other dishes.

Called in to place my order of combo tofu soup and beef bulgulgi. The interior was very nice and clean and the place was located along with a lot of other shops so there is limited parking. I really enticed my soup! It was nice and spicy per my request, even after adding my rice! The portion was quite large which was a pleasant surprise. The packaging was very nice and made it easy for my to eat back in my hotel room too. The beef bulgulgi wasn't too impressive but the soup made up for that. The service was very quick and efficient. I really wish this place was locally located to me because I am a major fan now! I still think about this soup!

This is my second time here and I like them even more knowing that they're all bay area sports fans since I'm from San Francisco. Go Warriors, Giants, Niners! This time I brought my girlfriend's parents after going to the Sawdust Art Festival in Laguna Beach. It wasn't too busy on a Sunday night as we got greeted and seated right away with a pitcher full of hot liquid. It's like you're going to grandmas where it's very homey and feeling loved. I originally thought it was a hot barley tea but I was surprised by the HOT BONE BROTH. Oh my goodness it was amazing. We couldn't decide what to order since everything looked so good but the banchan / side dishes came right after we ordered: - Bossam / Pork Belly: I always love getting Bossam anywhere we go because it feeds 4 people pretty well. I loved all of the sauces, green onion garnishes and everything and it was tender. Although I feel like some pieces were a little drier than others but it makes sense since it has less fat. I think it could have been a little bit more tender or cut thinner. However, when I put it into my broth to warm it up it made it nice and succulent. 4.5/5 - Sulongtang / Ox Bone Soup: My girlfriend's go to and it was a good size for her and her mom to share with great flavor. Everything you want for a cold day 5/5. - Ddukmanduguk Special /Rice Cake and Dumpling Beef Soup): I was in the mood for some rice cakes and they definitely delivered. You get 3 HUGE mandu /dumplings and I loved the seaweed added. 5/5 - Soondooboo / Tofu Soup Beef: I think her dad said he preferred Kaju's over Yoo's place but he still enjoyed it. 4/5 - Free Banchan / Side Dishes - All of them were wonderful. I loved the fresh kimchi. Cucumber. Fish Cakes. Some kind of Jelly thing. I think the Kabocha Squash could have been a little bit softer as it was hard for my gf's mom but I still ate it as it was good protein and they refilled them super fast also! 4.5/5 - Surprise Naengmyun - Later on they said that was on the house. IT WAS SO GOOD. I would go back to eat a full order of this. Funny as I was just watching Chef's Table Noodle and wanted to eat some Naengmyun. Sweet and not too spicy. 10/10. Overall, we had such an incredible experience there. Service was top notch and all of the food was bomb. If I'm ever in the area and wanting some korean food, this is the spot. Just be careful as parking can be a little bit crazy but at least there is a parking structure. Thank you so much Yoo's for the wonderful meal. We are grateful and can't wait to come visit again soon!

AMAZING Korean food! I came in on a weekend right at opening time, and it got busy within the first hour, which is always a good sign. I ordered the beef and vegetable cold noodles, and WOW, the flavors were incredible! The portion was huge, too. My friend got the mushroom bulgogi bibimbap, and he loved it--he's already talking about coming back. Even with the restaurant filling up quickly, the food came out in a reasonable amount of time. The menu is massive, like the Cheesecake Factory of Korean food, so there's definitely something for everyone. I can't wait to come back and try more dishes. Highly recommend!

It was a colder fall evening and after a long day of studying, I needed some comforting Korean food for my soul! Seolleong Tang: The broth was soothing, good noodle texture and delicious with the ox bone. It complimented the weather and warmed my tummy! Dolpan Bibbimap: It was sizzling and freshly served absolutely great tasting. The mushrooms were my favorite. Great with the kimchi, pickled radish and spicy cucumbers. Service: The hostess seated us right away from across the place. She let us pick our preferred table. She was so sweet and treated everyone like one big family with a sweet smile of greetings transitioning from English to Korean. Helping staff was quick and refilled our sides & cleaned empty dishes swiftly since we picked a smaller table Ambiance: white aesthetic tables & walls with good variation of seating for all parties. The tables were good distance apart even though it seems smaller on the outside. Overall: will come again to try more! I plan to come the day before my doctoral advancement to fuel me with homemade Korean cooking :) see you soon

This is our favorite Korean restaurant in the OC. Their standout dishes are their galbi jjim (braised short ribs, we prefer the spicy version) and their icy cold Naengmyeon which really hits the spot on a hot day. Their black bean noodles were such a hit with the kiddos! Service: fast and friendly Price: $-$$
